Blog Writer

Daily Dose can help you write complete blog articles — from outline to finished draft — using AI tailored to your brand voice. Use the Blog Writer to create content that attracts new customers and builds your authority online.

Starting a New Blog Post

Navigate to the Blog Writer page in the sidebar and click New Post. You'll be asked to choose a template and enter a topic.

Choose a Template

Templates define the structure of your article. Available templates include:

  • How-To Guide — step-by-step instructional content
  • Listicle — numbered lists (e.g., “5 Ways to...”)
  • Industry Insight — thought leadership and trend analysis
  • Product Spotlight — showcase a product or service
  • FAQ — answer common customer questions

Enter a Topic

Type the subject of your article. Be as specific as possible for better results. For example: “How to choose the right coffee beans for a home espresso machine” will produce a more focused article than just “coffee.”

Generating an Outline

After selecting a template and topic, click Generate Outline. Daily Dose will create a structured outline with section headings. Review the outline and rearrange or rename sections if needed before moving on.

Tip

Spend a moment on the outline — it's much easier to adjust the structure here than after all the sections are written.

Writing Sections

With your outline ready, click Write All Sections to generate the full article, or click Write Section on individual headings to generate one at a time. Each section is written in your brand voice using your Brand DNA.

If a section doesn't come out right, click Regenerate Section to get a fresh version. You can regenerate any section as many times as you like.

Editing Your Article

All sections are editable in the built-in rich text editor. You can:

  • Bold, italicize, and underline text.
  • Add headings, bullet lists, and numbered lists.
  • Insert links.
  • Rearrange paragraphs by cutting and pasting.

Your changes are saved automatically as you type.

Polishing the Article

Once you're happy with the content, click Polish. The AI will review the full article and improve flow, fix awkward phrasing, ensure consistent tone, and tighten up the writing — without changing the substance of what you wrote.

Adding Images to Your Blog

Click Generate Images to have Daily Dose create AI-generated images for your blog post. Images are placed automatically in relevant sections of the article.

You can also manually insert images from your Library into any section using the editor toolbar.

Managing Blog Posts

Your blog posts are listed on the Blog Writer page. Each post shows its title, status (Draft or Published), and last edited date.

Draft — The post is a work in progress. Only you can see it.
Published — The post is finalized. You can copy the content to paste into your own blog platform (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, etc.).

Version History

Every time a major change is made — such as polishing or regenerating a section — Daily Dose saves a version. Click Version History on a blog post to view and restore previous versions.
