Content Calendar

The Content Calendar gives you a bird's-eye view of all your scheduled posts. Use it to plan ahead, review upcoming content, and manage posts across any date.

Reading the Calendar

The calendar shows the current month. Each day displays a dot indicator for how many posts are scheduled. Click on any day to open the day panel and see the posts for that date.

  • Days with posts show a colored indicator (green for approved, amber for draft/generated).
  • Use the arrow buttons to navigate between months.
  • Click Today to jump back to the current date.

The Day Panel

Clicking a day opens the day panel on the right side of the screen (or below on mobile). Here you can:

  • View existing posts for that day, including their thumbnail, caption preview, and status.
  • Add a new post by clicking Add Post (up to 3 posts per day).
  • Open a post to view its full caption, hashtags, and options.

Creating Posts from the Calendar

Click Add Post on any day to start creating a new post for that date. You'll be prompted to select a photo and generate a caption.

You can create posts for past dates (useful for retroactive planning or testing) as well as future dates.

Automatic Post Generation

Daily Dose automatically generates a post for the next day at 8 PM in your configured timezone — but only if your Library has photos and no post already exists for that day.

This means you'll often wake up to a new draft post in your calendar, ready to review and approve. You can always override or supplement auto-generated posts by creating additional posts manually.

Tip

Keep your Library stocked with photos so the automatic generator always has something to work with. Upload new photos regularly to keep your content fresh.

Scheduling Limits

You can schedule up to 3 posts per day. This limit prevents your audience from being overwhelmed and keeps your content quality high. If you need to post more, we recommend using one of the 3 slots for a Story-type caption rather than a feed post.

Rescheduling a Post

Open a post from the calendar and edit its scheduled date to move it to a different day. The post retains its caption and photo — only the date changes.

If you move a post to a date that already has 3 posts, you'll need to delete one of the existing posts for that day first.
