Instagram Posts

Daily Dose generates complete Instagram posts for you — photo, caption, and hashtags — and delivers them to your inbox ready to copy and post.

Creating a Post

Posts are created from the Calendar page. Click on any date to open the day panel, then click Add Post. You can schedule up to 3 posts per day.

  1. Choose a photo — select from your Library or generate a new AI image.
  2. Generate a caption — click Generate Caption to have Claude write a caption and hashtags based on your Brand DNA and the selected photo.
  3. Review and edit — read through the caption and tweak any wording you'd like to change.
  4. Approve — mark the post as approved so it gets included in your delivery email.

Caption Generation

Captions are generated by Claude, Anthropic's AI, using your Brand DNA as context. Every caption is written in your brand voice and tailored to your target audience.

If you're not happy with the first result, click Rewrite to get a fresh version. You can rewrite a caption up to 5 times per post.

Tip

The more detail you add to your Brand DNA — especially the Custom Instructions field — the better your captions will match your style. Try adding specific calls-to-action or phrases you always use.

Hashtags

Daily Dose automatically generates up to 5 relevant hashtags for each post. Hashtags are shown separately from the caption so you can copy them independently.

  • Hashtags are lowercase and do not include the # symbol in storage — they are formatted for you at delivery.
  • You can edit hashtags directly on the post card.
  • Rewriting the caption will also refresh the hashtags.

Swapping Photos

Changed your mind on the photo? Click Swap Photo on any post to choose a different image from your Library. You can swap the photo up to 5 times per post. The caption stays the same after a swap — rewrite it if you want to freshen it up.

Scheduling Posts

Each post is tied to a specific date. You can schedule posts up to 30 days in advance from the Calendar view. Posts are generated automatically at 8 PM in your configured timezone if none exist for the next day — so you always wake up to fresh content in your inbox.

  • You can schedule up to 3 posts per day.
  • Rescheduling a post is done by editing its date from the post detail view.

Email Delivery

At your configured delivery time, Daily Dose sends an email for each approved post. The email contains the caption, hashtags, and a thumbnail of the photo — everything you need to post to Instagram in seconds.

  1. Open the delivery email on your phone.
  2. Tap View Post to open the public post page.
  3. Copy the caption and hashtags.
  4. Save the photo to your camera roll.
  5. Paste into Instagram and post.

Only posts with Approved status are delivered. Make sure to approve your posts before your delivery time.

Post Statuses

Draft — Post has been created but the caption has not been generated yet.
Generated — Caption and hashtags have been generated. Review and approve when ready.
Approved — Post is approved and will be included in the next delivery email.
Delivered — Post has been sent to your email inbox.

Deleting a Post

Open the post from the Calendar view and click Delete. Deleted posts are removed permanently. The photo remains in your Library.
