Ask AI
Ask AI is your brand-aware content assistant. It knows your Brand DNA inside and out and can help you write customer emails, product descriptions, social media bios, event announcements, review responses, and more — all in your brand voice.
Getting Started
Open Ask AI from the sidebar. Before you can use it, you need to have your Brand DNA configured — this is how the AI writes in your voice.
If your Brand DNA is not set up yet, you will see a prompt to configure it first. Head to the Getting Started guide to set up your brand identity.
Using the Chat
Type your request in the message box and press Enter to send. The AI responds with content written in your brand voice. Use Shift + Enter to add a new line without sending.
Messages can be up to 2,000 characters. A character counter appears as you type.
Suggestion Chips
When you start a new conversation, Ask AI shows suggestion chips tailored to your industry. These give you one-click starting points for common content needs.
For example, a restaurant might see suggestions like “Write a weekend special announcement” or “Draft a response to a 3-star review,” while a retail business might see “Write a sale announcement” or “Draft a product launch email.”
Quick Actions
After the AI responds, quick action buttons appear below the message:
- Shorter — make the response more concise.
- Longer — expand with more detail.
- More casual — rewrite in a friendlier tone.
- More professional — rewrite in a polished tone.
Image Generation
Ask AI can also generate images directly in the chat. Ask it to create an image for a social media post, a product photo, or any visual content — and it will generate the image inline in the conversation.
Copying & Starting Fresh
Hover over any AI response to reveal the Copy button, which copies the full text to your clipboard.
Click New chat in the top right to start a fresh conversation. Previous conversations are not saved between sessions.
Tips
- Be specific in your requests — instead of “write an email,” try “write a thank-you email to a customer who just made their first purchase.”
- Use the quick actions to iterate on a response without typing a follow-up.
- The AI remembers context within a conversation, so you can refine results across multiple messages.
- Try asking for content you might not normally create — event announcements, review responses, or social media bios.
